CONSUELO MENCHETA: The garden of the flying colours. “El jardín de los colores que vuelan”
The writer and professor of history born in Murcia Spain has introduced in Madrid his last literary work, a biography of Consuelo Mencheta Artist – who accompained him in the Presentation of the book – called “El jardín de los colores que vuelan” The garden of the flying colours. Written in elaborate, suggestive, rich prose that characterizes Martínez Cerezo, the book is divided into two parts: the first one dedicated to the biographical study of the artist, from her starters to the current moment; and a wide critical-artistic-literery-analitic study of the work of the valencian painter, that includes three creative stages of her life: intimist, expansive, and symbolic.

El escritor, historiador y académico murciano Antonio Martínez Cerezo ha presentado en Madrid su nueva obra, una biografía de la artista Consuelo Mencheta –que acompañó al escritor en el acto– titulada El jardín de los colores que vuelan. Con la rica prosa y estilo que caracteriza a Martínez Cerezo, el libro se divide en dos partes: la dedicada al estudio biográfico de la artista, desde sus comienzos al momento actual; y un amplio estudio crítico-artístico-literario-analítico de la obra de la pintora valenciana, que abarca tres etapas creativas: intimista, expansiva y simbolista.
El libro ha sido traducido parcialmente al chino y al inglés
